September 14: Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross
On this day, we honor the Missionary Benedictine Sisters who, in 1906, began their mission of faith, education, and service in the Philippines. Their courage and vision continue to shape generations of Scholasticans.
Today, we launch GAWAD HuSSAy at SSAysay - Excellence and Relevance - recognizing distinguished alumni whose lives and achievements embody the values of Benedictine education. Their witness reminds us that true honor lies not only in achievement, but in how one chooses to serve with what has been received.
From the Cross came a mission;
from the mission came formation;
from formation came generations of Scholasticans;
and through them, the Benedictine spirit continues to transform lives.
